NAVI is a Romanian pop-indie singer and songwriter. She started writing music and performing when she was 12 and she has worked as a songwriter/lyricist for famous Romanian artists like Morandi, Hotel FM (Eurovision Romania 2011), Anca Florescu, Vaida, Roxana Nemes, Foisorul de Foc, Aurelian Temisan, Mike Thomas & Passione and many more.
From 2008 to 2012, she recorded and performed alongside guitarist Alec Sandor as "Alexandra & Alec". They released three singles accompanied by music videos ("La cafea", "Bad Day" and "In Noapte"). In 2009 they released the "Little Dreams" EP, featuring 9 original songs.
NAVI co-wrote the lyrics for "Change", the song that represented Romania in the Eurovision 2011 Song Festival, alongside longtime collaborator and friend Gabriel Baruta.
In 2014, NAVI released "Picture Perfect", dubbed by the press "the most shocking video in pop". The power ballad's video is essentially a short film directed by NMC, depicting explicit BDSM and Shibari (Japanese bondage) scenes. "Picture Perfect" has been banned on Romanian television.
In 2015, the singer released "The Burning Process", the second single off her upcoming album, "The Beauty Diaries".
