Love is Red was an American melodic hardcore band from Nashville, Tennessee formed in 2000 in Florence, Alabama by Rob McFeters (vocals), Dane Taylor (drums), Adam Riser (guitar), Roger Kilburn (guitar), and Kinsman Mackay (bass). The band released their debut full-length record All That's Ahead Points to Forever on Recorse Records in 2001. Following line-up changes, including the addition of Hunter Weeks on vocals, Love is Red re-recorded demo tracks and released a split EP with Nashville Band Oliver’s Army in 2002. They signed with Stillborn Records and recorded The Hardest Fight (2004) in 2004, which led to tours with notable acts such as Hatebreed and Sick of It All. The band disbanded in early 2005 but reunited in 2010 for a show in Nashville. They played Furnace Fest in 2021 and re-issued The Hardest Fight on vinyl along with a new EP Darkness is Waiting (2021).
