TheOvertunes is an Indonesian Band formed in 2010. Consisting of Mikha Angelo in vocals, Reuben Nathaniel in guitar, and Mada Emanuelle in drums. Though officially started in around 2010, Mada, Reuben, and Mikha have lived together all their lifetime. They were born and raised under the same roof. Mada, Reuben, and Mikha are siblings. Falling in love with music since childhood, these three guys like playing cover songs from John Mayer, Justin Nozuka, and Poema. Now it’s time to expose themselves to the world and play their original songs.
TheOvertunes’ name does emerge after Mikha, the vocalist joined ‘The X Factor’ Indonesia. Mikha who reached Top 4 of ‘The X Factor’ Indonesia has drawn lot of attention from public. Signed with Sony Music, now these 3 prodigies are rocking the music scene with their music ability and charm.
Their first studio album “Selamanya” was released on June 4, 2015. With hit singles “Sayap Pelindungmu”, “Dunia Bersamamu”, and “Jatuh Dari Surga”. One of the single from this album, “Mungkin” and “Ku Ingin Kau Tahu” also became the soundtrack of “Ngenest”, a movie by Indonesian standup comedian - Ernest Prakasa. Since then Ernest have faith in TheOvertunes to do the soundtracks for his two other movies “Cek Toko Sebelah” and “Susah Sinyal”. Don't forget to stream all the songs from TheOvertunes.
