Reale is an Italian band that since 2009 has dedicated its musical expertise to communicating its experience of faith through songs, concerts, and testimonies.
Alessandro and Francesca (husband and wife), the project's founders, are the authors and singers of songs that fill the songbooks of our parishes, such as "Luce", "Lode a Dio", "Come nessuno altro", "Batti le tue mani" and many others. These songs were written during their journey in the Cenacolo Community of Mother Elvira (1998-2004), where they arrived after years of drug addiction.
Here, their conversion occurred, they discovered American Christian music (Third Day, Hillsong, Jars of Clay), and they decided to bring this genre to Italy after leaving the community.
Their songs quickly became a small "underground Catholic phenomenon", used and requested by countless faith-based groups; their testimonies transformed into increasingly demanding, large, and frequent concerts throughout Italy. They are joined by musician friends and collaborators who feel this path is deeply rooted in their being and who now form the Reale band.
In 2016, their song "Alla porta del cielo" was chosen as the Official Hymn of the Franciscan March.
In 2017, they wrote "Dove Abiti" the official hymn of the Youth Festival of the Triveneto Salesian Youth Movement.
In 2018, the album "Travolgimi" debuted at #1 on iTunes, among the best-selling digital albums in Italy, remaining in the overall charts for 7 weeks. The "Travolgimi tour" included over 80 dates in a year and a half.
At the height of the pandemic, they released the single "Migliore", whose music video features collaborations with artist friends who have become close to Reale's mission over the years, such as Nek, Giusy Buscemi, Ziza Fernandes, Luca Francioso, and many others.
In 15 years of mission, they have released four albums: Come nessuno altro (2009), Kairòs (2014), Serpenti e Colombe (2016), Travolgimi (2018), a best-of compilation (Migliore 2020), various singles, and hundreds of concerts from oratory halls to theaters, arenas, and Italian squares.
In 2023, they embarked on their first world tour, playing live for nearly 2 million people in Medjugorje, New York, London, Nuremberg, Fortaleza, and Lisbon (WYD), and have collaborated internationally with artists such as Ziza Fernandes and Alfareros.
They recently released the Portuguese version of "Sopra i Tetti" with renowned Brazilian singer-songwriter Thiago Brado.
They will celebrate their 15th anniversary in November 2024, after releasing two hit singles, "Il me prima di Te" and "Sono rimasto vivo".
In 2025, they won the following awards at the Catholic Music Awards: Best Pop Song, Best Rock Song, and Best Song in Portuguese with Ziza Fernandes – No Teu nome.
