Dr. Pushkin is a Ghanaian Hip-Hop and Afrofusion/Afrobeats artist, originally from Bolgatanga and currently based in Austin, TX.
Through an independent grind fueled by his love for Hip-Hop, African Beats and Conscious Lyricism, Dr. Pushkin tackles social issues with his music - all while managing to entertain and uplift the listener.
After many years of underground buzz, 2022 was a breakthrough year, with four of Dr. Pushkin's singles cracking the Official Ghanaian Top 20 YouTube charts. Meanwhile, collaborations with Highlife Music Legend Ofori Amponsah and Twi Rap Tongue-Twisting Inventor Quata Budukusu created social media trends on Twitter and YouTube.
He founded the music collective Isolirium - composed of himself, Ataman Nikita & TeriWiizi - and aims to promote the positive uses of AI technologies in African societies, e.g., he co-invented Khaya - the world's 1st Ghanaian language AI translation app.
