Of all the musical beings that inhabit this planet (and some others), a link between them was missing that had not been identified. An androgynous crossover between reggaeton, cumbia, tropical new wave, jazz, electronic music, hip hop, psychedelia and the most poisonous Latin music, with lyrics in Spanish, Portuguese and English: Mandale Mecha, an Argentine-Brazilian combo, formed in 2019 by musicians active in the Brazilian scene for over 15 years — Michu ?? (Petit Mort), Chico ?? (Skrotes), Gustavo ?? (ATR), and Samuel ?? (Muñoz).
In collaboration with the label Raso Estudio ??, the group has released 50 songs, distributed across three albums: Ficken und Kiffen (2020), Maracuyá Azedo and Maracuyá Doce (2022), as well as a series of singles and collaborations. Highlights include El Sol (feat. Mulamba, from Curitiba), the sensual Día de Suerte, and Papi, which became part of the soundtrack of the Spanish Netflix series Valeria and Las Últimas de la Fila.
Mandale Mecha has completed two tours in Europe, with 27 shows at festivals across Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and the Netherlands, expanding their global audience and reaching over two million streams on Spotify. The band is recording their fourth album.
