Active and creating music
Having studied the saxophone, flute & piano since grade school, Brian has always had a fascination with the ability to tell a story with sound. He was inspired by 1960’s Jazz Masters such as Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock & Miles Davis. Brian has also studied extensively the music of the French classical impressionists such as Ravel & Debussy. Despite studying the past, Brian has also always kept an eye on modern developments in music as well as the ever-expanding technology. “I have always viewed a musical album as being like a book. With each tune representing a chapter of the book to create a cohesive story and feeling.
