Press play on our new single Spiral 🌀
Pacific, based in Manchester, UK are carving their own arena in the industry with their unique blend of alternative, piano-infused rock and indie nuances.
Having been spun on BBC Radio 1 by Huw Stephens, featured in Apple Music’s Breaking Rock editorial playlist for much of 2020, covered in METRO - "New band Pacific are proving indie music is getting a much needed coming back” - and after winning the national vote to play Y Not Festival from 1,000s of acts in 2019, it is clear that the best is yet to come for this rising band.
With an appetite for anthems, the band’s electrifyingly immediate singles have brought in strong backing. Regarding radio, Pacific’s 2020 tunes were championed by BBC Introducing from Manchester, including multiple spins and a live session, plus further Introducing spins from Dave Monks at BBC Merseyside and Rob Adcock at BBC Stoke. Additional industry support last year came from Gigwise, XS Manchester, Tom Robinson’s Fresh on the Net, Amazing Radio and Jack FM.
Adapting to the times, Pacific have been in virtual high-demand; the band recently released a cover video series in partnership with Blackstar Amps titled “90 Sec Anthems”. Moreover, Pacific were invited to play virtual live sets throughout 2020 - Liverpool Sound City’s ‘Guest House’, the official online afterparty for Manchester Arena’s 25th Anniversary, the virtual Chester Live Festival, and a live Jimmy’s Instagram takeover.
Also championing Pacific are Salford City F.C., using the band’s music for the past two years in their social media video material. This only adds to the band’s football acclaim – frequenting pre-match stadium playlists at Manchester United and Brentford F.C., as well as performing at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on the City Square stage.
