Seodophy is the solo project of Lithuanian bassist and producer Teodoras Balčiauskis, exploring how the bass guitar can lead both melody and rhythm. Drawing from nu-jazz, post-rock, and electronic music, his work blends live instrumentation with layered production to create pieces that feel both intimate and cinematic.
The music is built around texture and movement — dynamic drums, evolving chord structures, and resonant bass lines shape emotional narratives without relying on lyrics. Each track reflects personal experiences and moods, from moments of urgency to reflection and calm.
Seodophy’s releases have been supported by BBC6 Music, NTS Radio, Bandcamp New & Notable, and Lithuanian media, and his live performances bring the music into an even more immersive space through improvisation and collaboration with other musicians.
