I am Rhita Nattah, born in Fez and I've always lived in Morocco, my dream was to study music but that wasn't possible since there's no music schools in my country, so when I grew up I decided to learn everything by myself, I taught myself English, how to play guitar & how to compose, all from YouTube
In 2016 and while I was preparing for my master degree's research, I was contacted by a Swiss band who then came to Morocco to work with me, one of the songs I wrote and composed for them "SAVE ME" is now on a Netflix show. The whole thing didn't end the way I expected cause I was young & Naive but I regret nothing.
In 2017, I've decided with Samir El Bousaadi, a talented Moroccan producer & musician to make music and nothing else, so we both focused on learning & creating, we taught ourselves production and songwriting. I also record all the vocals, on my own. We released our first single "Not The Same" in 2019.
We're so inspired by Moroccan Traditional music, its the essence of everything we make. Samir is also inspired by Metal and Rock, and I'm a fan of Jazz and Reggae.
In July 2021, we had our first billboard in Times Square, after the release of "Effects Of Thoughts" thanks to Spotify Africa. Lyrics and Authenticity matter so much to us.
Samir and I are working currently on our debut EP, we are independent + in a country where royalties are not even distributed. Streaming & sharing my music helps a lot.
