Black Like Oil is a young band; inspired by the culture and atmosphere of the 1980s - music, films, visual aesthetics - they are experimenting with their sound, searching for their own language and style, by mixing synthwave and nostalgic beats with unexpected, non-standard musical ideas.
Grounded in electronic music, they never averse other genres, trying to figure out what can be accomplished with the help of intriguing combinations.
