The Jalopies are Jim Duncan on keyboards, synthesizers and vocals; Jerry Duncan on drums; and Doug Alvey on vocals.
The band hails from the central Indiana/Indianapolis area, where all the guys went to school south of town, roaming the halls of Greenwood Community High in the late 1970s and early 1980s. All were involved in the music programs in their various forms during those high school years.
Jim thinks of the band as “a collection of old guys, composing and recording old-style music with a few broken-down twists”. We hope you enjoy our music!
