Sister Sadie formed after a show at Nashville’s Station Inn in 2012 and has grown into a celebrated all-female bluegrass group. They won IBMA’s Entertainer of the Year award in 2020 and made history as the first all-female band to earn IBMA's Vocal Group of the Year, which they won three years in a row. The band features a mix of seasoned veterans and rising stars, with founding member Deanie Richardson named Fiddle Player of the Year in 2024, and Gena Britt (SPBGMA’s Banjo Player of the Year). The lineup also includes Jaelee Roberts (2024 IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year), Dani Flowers, bassist Maddie Dalton (2023 IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year), and mandolinist Rainy Miatke.
