Hello! I'm working many new albums :) Thank you to anyone who has streamed Petrichor or Color in Winter!
It was always a battle in my twenties, between creating music for a living and a traditional career path. I went back and forth on life decisions with music always pulling me back into life after settling on a safer trajectory.
In my early twenties my best friend and I formed a band called "Tear". I met him in seventh grade quoting "The Simpsons" in algebra class. When he passed away to cancer at twenty six, I found myself a little lost. Without a clear path, I tried creating pop music for a few years, but ended up going back to college to finish a degree in finance.
I remember while in an internship as a financial analyst I had headphones on listening to Hans Zimmer on pandora. It was in a cubical with four other people, and realizing I was leaving music for good, tears streamed down my face in silence as I crunched numbers. The final push into doing music full time was a YouTube video my girlfriend/bassist sent me, "What Do You Desire" by Alan Watts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCUFs2qJ1bs
Now I create music for media, commercials and trailers fulltime and I love every minute of it. I'm infinitely grateful to anyone who has streamed, purchased, or licensed my music, allowing me to do what I am passionate about. If you are passionate about anything, please keep doing it.
