Music can be, and always has been, applied as a medicine too.
Spinoza offers psychedelic guidance, education and music (www.spinoza.co). Over the last 2 years, Spinoza has collaborated with musicians from around the world to create elaborate Music Journeys, composed to complement psychedelic ceremonies.
Our music is engineered to appeal to the entire emotional spectrum, bringing the subconscious to the surface. By releasing various emotions, they can be processed on a deeper level. In addition, we work with specific frequencies that activate certain brain waves to help you relax and reach deeper layers of your consciousness. The theta state, for example, is similar to deep meditation and induces focus and creativity. We use the frequency of the earth for a calming, grounding effect and to reconnect you with nature.
What’s technologically innovative and makes the experience deeply immersive, is that we use spatial sound as an instrument, offering an extra compositional tool that listeners can use to experience spacious awareness.
From the wish to share our music beyond our ceremony participants and with as many people as possible, Spinoza has founded the label Spinoza Music. The first album to be published is titled A Spatial Odyssey. For this album, we have partnered with End of Time - a quartet of innovative acoustic and electronic musicians, composers and sound engineers. Our debut album celebrates connections between cultures, traditions and humanity as a whole.
