Danny Harley aka The Kite String Tangle is a prolific producer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and label owner hailing from Brisbane, Australia. With a string of Gold certified releases and awards under his belt, he marked a new musical direction with the release of his 2nd studio album 'C()D3X' (March 2020) featuring singles ‘P()L4R’, ‘KILLING TIME (feat. Eliott’) and 'NORTH'. The critically acclaimed album explores his eclectic electronic influences in a move that was warmly embraced by fans, triple j and international tastemakers.
Harley originally broke out with adored singles ‘Arcadia’ and ‘Given The Chance’ taken from his debut EP ‘Vessel’. His debut self titled album was released in July 2017, featuring singles ‘Selfish’, ‘The Prize’ (feat. Bridgette Amofah of Rudimental) and ‘This Thing We Got’ which gained international attention and earned an ARIA award nomination.
Not one to sit still, the prolific songwriter crafted a mini-album entitled ‘In A Desperate Moment” in 2018, to accompany his sold out shows with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
