Serena debuted in the music industry in 2013, when she started posting covers on social media. With her reinterpreted songs, Serena amassed over 27 million views worldwide and over 160.000 subscribers on her Youtube Channel. Her most popular covers are of the songs „Dja Dja”, “Zemer”, “Jale” or “Nentori”.
In 2018, alongside her producers at Pink Elephant, Serena recorded Safari, an international hit. The song was #1 in Shazam Top 50 in India for four consecutive weeks and #1 in Shazam Top 50 in Turkey for 20 consecutive weeks. Currently, the song sits at just above 148 million views on YouTube, over 27 million streams on Spotify and almost 2 million shazams.
2019 was the year Serena was signed by a major label in the United States, following her success. It was also the year the artist released „Waiting” and „Gasolina”, worked alongside Matteo on the song „Alo”, DJ Kantic on „Kul” and Robert Cristan on „Summer Air”.
Along the years, Selena collaborated and laid toplines for renowned artists both in Romania and internationally. Amongst them, Jasmin Walla, DJ Sava, CRBL, Alexia Talauvitis, F. Charm, Gabi Bagu, Dony and DJ LLP.
