Thomas Gwosdz recorded a bunch of outstanding techno tracks for KOMPAKT, KOMPAKT EXTRA, Auftrieb, Schnittstelle and Braintist - definitely more on the wild, bawdy side of the spectrum. His speciality was laying out grooves that were neither schaffel nor straight. We at KOMPAKT used to call this "Gefährlicher Halbschaffel" (dangerous semi-schaffel) - dangerous because dancing to his grooves could easily have you ending up with a knot in your legs. Straight outta Rüdesheim!
