Yprince Emmanuel Nwoko, born on October 31, 1996, in Minna, Niger State, A native of Owerri in imo state, Nigeria. is a Nigerian singer-songwriter known for his blend in Afro music, soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Raised in a Roman Catholic family, Yprince discovered his passion for music at an early age, learning to miming of popular songs by various artists, down to freestyling on beats & instrumentals on YouTube.
After graduating from high school, Yprince attended federal university of technology Owerri in imo state, where he bagged a Bachelor of Technology in Food science and technology, in school of engineering. He also honed his songwriting skills and expanded his musical repertoire. Influenced by artists such as Davido, 2face idibia, Psquare, Akon, Drake, Ice prince, Wande Coal, Kizz Daniel, and Tiwa Savage, Yprince developed his own unique sound, blending elements of Afrobeats, pop, soul, afro - flip and folk.
In 2016, Yprince released his First Single, "4U," which garnered critical acclaim and showcased his raw talent as both a singer and songwriter. The single, 4U," received significant radio airplay and helped establish Yprince as a rising star in the music industry.
Since then, Yprince has continued to captivate audiences with his emotive and energetic performances and honest storytelling. His sophomore album, "Nextbigthing,"released in 2022, further solidified his reputation as a gifted musician, earning him a loyal fan base and praise from music critics alike.
