¡Grabando gregoriano sin descanso para la mayor gloria de Dios!
Just a few years ago I never would have imagined that I would be doing this. It all started in the summer of 2019, when Divine Providence wanted me to attend the fortieth Gregorian chant course that the AHisECGre (Hispanic Association for the Study of Gregorian Chant) had been organizing every summer at the Abbey of the Holy Cross of the Valley of the Fallen (Abadía de la Santa Cruz del Valle de los Caídos).
My experience there was one of those that changes your life, to the point of not having stopped singing Gregorian since then, since the more I sang, the more I learned and the more I delved into it, the more it captivated me. Because Gregorian chant is the most sublime form of praise that exists, the very liturgy sung. And when you become aware of that, you want nothing less than the best of the best to honor, praise and glorify God our Lord.
So, seeing the almost extinct situation of Gregorian chant in our Holy Mother Church and knowing the good that it does to the souls and the glory of God, I made the determination to do everything possible to spread and share with the whole world this treasure of the Church that is the Gregorian chant, a true gift from heaven. And thus Verbum Gloriae (The Word of Glory) was born, our humble space of apostolate of Gregorian chant through which we intend to make known, bring closer and facilitate the learning of this, the song par excellence of the Roman Church. All for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and that of all his holy Church.
