MOSKITO are a fever inducing cacophony of dark melodies, mixed with abrasive yet tender sounds. A pair of brothers front the stage, tapping into an infectious chemistry that spearheads a powerful, confident stage presence amongst the quintet.
With their mammoth riffs and haunting melodies, the East Midlands reprobates have continued to prove why they’re a force to be reckoned with. Causing pandemonium during their relatively short time as a band, MOSKITO have received features and plays from industry heavy weights such as Radio 1, NME, Rolling Stone, Rock Sound, Planet Rock, Kerrang!, All Punked Up, BBC Introducing and such like. Following this break through, the bands high energy performances have earned their rightful spots at festivals such as Teddy Rocks, Lumefest, Castfest , Beam Me Up and Badland Festival, dominating any crowd in their sight whilst playing alongside acts such as Feeder, The Enemy, Kid Kapichi, Dream State, Jake Bugg, Snayx, Fizzy blood and many more.
The beginning of 2023 saw the release of the ‘BAD LOVE // MIXTAPE’ featuring the previously released ‘Gone With The Girl Next Door’ and ‘Don’t Touch My Baby’. With these debut tracks being recorded with Thomas Mitchener (Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, WARGASM, The Futureheads) the mixtape also featured some new additions in the forms of ‘Miss Me, ‘517’ and ‘Sweet Fruit’ all of which making regular appearances on BBC Radio 1 as well as entering the Kerrang! chart. The Mixtape reached new heights hitting the No.1 album spot on the iTunes Rock Charts in Sweden and earned its rightful spot on major Spotify playlists.
In the same year through their high work ethic, drive and determination, the UK raging indie punk rockers returned with their ‘G.R.I.M’ EP (short for Grief, Remorse Infected Manhood), a more cohesive set of songs with reoccurring tones and stories. The EP itself was written during turbulent times and through brotherhood this chapter only unified them more. Lead single 'Killing Joke' received relentless support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC introducing including numerous plays 4 weeks in a row on Kerrang! radio with Alex Baker.
