I'm Debra Can, The Vibrant Voice of Afro-Pop
As a young girl growing up in Lagos, Nigeria in the 80s, I was inspired by the soulful sounds of Brandy and Toni Braxton. Their music ignited a passion in me that I couldn't ignore, and I began singing in my church choir and representing my school in musical competitions.
After completing my degree in Mass Communications, I explored various creative outlets - from TV presenting to radio hosting and entrepreneurship. But music remained my true calling.
Now, I'm ready to share my music with the world. My sound is a vibrant fusion of Afro-beats, pop, and soul, reflecting my life experiences, hopes, and dreams. My music is a testament to my resilience, passion, and dedication to my craft.
