Dance Elevation vs. Acting Lovers - Summertime - OUT NOW
Acting Lovers was born in 2005, when producer Patrick Thomson and friend Jack Summers teamed up to bring their passion for Eurodance to life. By 2008, their debut single "In Light and Darkness" hit the scene, followed by "Tonight" and heir first album "Get It While It’s Hot".
In 2009, the addition of lead vocalist Kathryn McCunningham shaped Acting Lovers’ signature sound. She debuted on "Kingdom of Love", followed by the album "Burning Temptations", solidifying the project’s place in Eurodance.
Singles such as "Curtain Falls" and "Angels Never Come Back" highlighted their blend of rhythm and emotion, with "Erotic Secrets" marking a creative high point.
With "Nights of Ecstasy", a single from "Fun After Midnight", Acting Lovers evolved musically, experimenting with fresh sounds.
After a pause, they returned in 2017 with "Bart Don’t Break My Heart" from the album "Names’n’Games", a concept that had existed since 2005. Hits like "Honey Bunny" and "Big Ben" stood out, but it was "Randy Andy" that became a favorite party anthem among younger fans.
In December 2024, Acting Lovers returned with "Bed on Fire", capturing hearts instantly. Fans eagerly await their upcoming album, "Peep Show" in 2025.
