Amöniacö was born in Santiago in 2008, current members are: Carlos Vandal on vocals and guitars, Jano Perverso on bass and Rod García on drums. “Tu fuego”, their first album was released in 2011 and by 2012 they were finalists in Peugeot Music. In 2013 they were in charge of opening for The Cure in their show in Chile after which they received praise from the press, the public and Robert Smith himself. In 2014 they worked with Barry Sage, remastering his first album in Estudio Master and recording the single "Time to change" which was mastered by Martin Bowes at The Cage Studios in Coventry, UK. In 2015 the band was selected to record the single “No volveré” for Converse Rubber Tracks with producer Pablo Giadach in Estudio Lautaro, the song was finally released in 2018. In 2016 they were at the finals of Viva Rock Latino at Hard Rock Cafe. “Castigarás” was the single recorded and produced by André Valenzuela in Estudios Indómito in 2017, which led the band to be among the nominees for Best Independent Single for the Indigo Awards and 4th place in the 40 best songs of 2018 in Metropolis Radio They were also part of 2 mini festivals in Lima and La Oroya, Perú, along with bands Cardenales and Invierno. In March 2019 they launched the “Azul Prusia” ep with producer José Ignacio Jaras. From this work, the singles and videos “Será a ti” and “Azul Prusia” are extracted, the latter directed by Carlos Vandal. They performed on stages like Casa Coca Cola, Rockaxis, Bar de René and a press tour through Valparaíso, Viña and Arica. At the end of 2019 the single “Será a ti” was in the #92 place of the 200 most requested Pabellon Patrio and "Azul Prusia" within the “Greatest Hits 2019” of Radio Wigwam in the United Kingdom. In November they signed with Cleopatra Records which gives the band an opportunity to reach a mass audience worldwide. During the pandemic, the band releases “Burn” a The Cure cover and created the Podcast “Web Music Show”. In 2021 the band released “Tu fuego” for its 10th anniversary and by January 2022 “Ritos” is released.
