Hailing from Detroit, Michigan (USA), American rapper Terry Sanchez Wallace, aka Tee Grizzley, was born on March 23, 1994. A gang member in his teens, he was imprisoned for armed robbery for nearly three years. Upon his release, he released his first track, "First Day Out" (#48), produced by Helluva, which quickly became a viral success, garnering millions of views and listens on dedicated platforms. This success led him to sign with the 300 Entertainment label. He releases the duet "From the D to the A" with Lil Yachty. The mixtape My Moment, released in 2017, reached #44 on the Billboard 200, without any promising collaborations. In December, Tee Grizzley teams up with Lil Durk for the Bloodas mixtape (#96). His debut album Activated, released in May 2018, hits #10 in the US. A few months later follows the second solo mixtape Still My Moment, charting at #29, with collaborations from Chance the Rapper, Offset and Lil Pump. The rapper then worked with producer Timbaland on the album Scriptures, which included contributions from YNW Melly and A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Released in June 2019, it reaches No. 20. In 2020, he reached #22 on the US charts with the mixtape The Smartest, featuring collaborations with Big Sean, Lil Baby, Lil Keed, Meek Mill and Queen Naija. Then, with the album Built for Whatever, released in 2021 and featuring duets with King Von, Quavo and Lil Tjay, he reached #15. The following year saw the release of a new mixtape, Half Tee Half Beast (#116), followed by Controversy with Skilla Baby in 2023. The same year saw the release of his fourth album, Tee's Coney Island, featuring contributions from 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Machine Gun Kelly, City Girls, as well as Lil Yachty, Kash Doll and PnB Rock on the deluxe edition. A new series of singles paved the way for the release of the following album Post Traumatic (2024), this time featuring contributions from Future, Mariah the Scientist, J. Cole, Hunxho, Fridayyy, YTB Fatt, 42 Dugg and his brother Baby Grizzley.
