Known for his unique Arabic rock-jazz fusion style, Tunisian singer Abdul Aziz Jarir Maraka, better known as Aziz Maraka, was born on June 22, 1983, in Tunis, Tunisia, and started performing on the keyboard at a young age, winning a national composition competition at 12. After moving to Jordan, Aziz Maraka received a scholarship to study in the United States. His first hit song "Bint El Nas" was written for his senior graduation project and distributed by Ekaa Records in 2008. He released his debut album Master Copy under the name Aziz Maraka & Razz that year, followed by Leka@Eka3 in 2010. He founded Maestro Entertainment in 2011, launching the annual BAB Music Festival starting from 2016. Some of his most popular singles from that era include "Meen Gallek" (2014) and "Ya Bay" (2016).
