Biyografi

Electropop singer / songwriter and social media sensation Jake Russel – born March 3, 2001, in Rhode Island – is better known by his stage name JVKE. He began playing the piano at the age of three, later switching his attention to learning the guitar and drums. He took music lessons until he was 15 but soon after, focused on composing his own songs. At the age of 17, he signed a publishing deal and dropped out of college to pursue music as a full-time career. JVKE wrote songs for several artists including Jason Derulo and K-Popsters Exo. Taking advantage of the internet, he set up accounts on several social media platforms and began releasing music videos and shorts. In August 2020, he released the song “Upside Down” to his social media accounts and it became a viral hit. Quickly earning himself over four million subscribers in 2020 alone, he released the single “Dandelion” (featuring Galantis) in 2021. The song reached Number 19 on the Billboard Dance / Electronic Songs chart and was followed more singles including “This Is What Falling In Love Feels Like” (2021), “Golden Hour” (2022), and “I Can’t Help It” (2022). In September 2022, JVKE released his debut album This Is What ____ Feels Like, which was an album broken into four parts: love, heartbreak, sadness, and falling out of love.
