Biyografi

Andreas Gabalier is an Austrian folk singer who specializes in the schlager form of traditional music and has earned multi-platinum sales throughout Europe. Born in Friesach, Austria, on November 21, 1984, he made his debut with 2009's Da komm ich her, which peaked at Number 4 on the Austrian charts, then climbed to Number 1 with 2010's Herzwerk and 2011's Volks-Rock'n'Roller. His song "Go For Gold" became his first Number 1 single in 2012, while its accompanying album, Home Sweet Home, charted at Number 4 in Germany and Number 2 in Switzerland. A concert album, Volks-Rock'n'Roller Live, was released that same year and helped Andreas Gabalier earn the Amadeus Austrian Music Award for "Best Live Act." Within two years, he'd also won Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in the folk and schlager categories. He later hit a new peak of international popularity with 2015's Mountain Man. Featuring the song "Hulapalu," Mountain Man topped the album charts in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, as did its 2018 follow-up, Vergiss mein nicht. He continued earning Top 40 hits in his homeland with 2020's "Neuer Wind" and 2021's "LiebeLeben," the latter of which was heralded as an LGBTQ anthem.
