Angry, provocative, and unapologetic: SKIRT. are the new modern punk/hardcore act from Hamburg. Formed in early 2025, the band will release their debut EP DEMO on September 4th – five tracks with a crystal-clear message: it’s time for bittersweet revenge.
Right from their first two singles Sweet and Your Misery, SKIRT. don’t hold back. Vocalist Lena Harrison channels raw emotions and experiences – backed by aggressive downstroke guitars, pounding Nirvana-esque beats, and an energy that hits more than just one nerve. The focus track Get Fucked embodies the essence of the EP: an uncompromising middle finger to anyone who refuses to take no for an answer.
But SKIRT. are more than just conviction – they’re DIY to the core. Guitarist and videographer Daniel Priess produced all five songs of the EP together with vocalist Lena, and the two also handled the full concept and production of the music videos for Sweet and Your Misery.
The band members are no strangers to the scene, having previously played in acts such as Deez Nuts, Light Your Anchor, James First, and ROYALIST – but with SKIRT. they’ve found their true common ground.
With their DEMO, SKIRT. draw sharp boundaries – and leave no room for anyone who dares to cross them.
