Supreme Beings of Leisure

Supreme Beings of Leisure is an electronic/trip hop band from Los Angeles, California. The group initially consisted of Geri Soriano-Lightwood, Ramin Sakurai, Kiran Shahani, and Rick Torres. Before forming Supreme Beings of Leisure, the band released "Nothing Like Tomorrow" and "What's the Deal" on two compilations under the name Oversoul 7. After signing with Palm Pictures, they released their self-titled debut album Supreme Beings of Leisure (2000), which sold over 250,000 units and peaked at number 47 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Following the release, Kiran Shahani left the group, and Supreme Beings of Leisure continued as Soriano-Lightwood and  Sakurai. Their second album, Divine Operation System, was released in 2002 and reached number 29 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. After a two-year hiatus, they released their third major album, 11i, in 2008 through Rykodisc Records.
