Adam Levine is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who attained international fame as the lead singer of the pop group Maroon 5 with hits on the Billboard and UK charts and several Grammy Awards. Levine has been a regular on the American television series 'The Voice' since it debuted in 2011 and he has appeared on the TV show 'American Horror Story'. He played a pop star in John Carney's 2013 feature film 'Begin Again' with Keira Knightley as an aspiring singer-songwriter and Mark Ruffalo as a down-and-out record producer.

Born in Los Angeles, he met his future bandmates at school and sang in a band called Kara's Flowers before forming Maroon 5. He has been successful in business with his own label, 222 Records, and a branded perfume. He is also active in charity work.

He has recorded singles with several different artists including Gym Class Heroes, whose 2011 release 'Stereo Hearts' with Levine went to number four on the Billboard Hot 100, and R. City whose 'Locked Away' (2015) reached number six. Other singles include 'Yesterday' (2011) with Tony Lucca, 'Tiny Dancer' (2013) with Will Champlin, 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me' (2014) with Damien, 'God Only Knows' (2015) with Jordan Smith and 'Mic Jack' (2017) with Big Boi. Maroon 5's 2017 album 'Red Pill Blues' peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. The group's 2018 tour with Levine took them across America and Canada ending in New York's Madison Square Garden in October.
