Izzy Bizu is a British singer-songwriter whose jazz-inflected pop sound garnered attention when she won an open mic contest after the group SuperGirl, which she had formed with school friends Olivia Redmond and Nicole Shortland broke up after two years in 2012. They had toured with Justin Bieber, The Wanted, Scouting for Girls and Pixie Lott and made one single, 'Don't Know Why', which went to number 45 on the UK Official Singles Chart.
Born in South London, Bizu released the EP 'Coolbeanz' in 2013 which earned considerable iTunes play and she performed at the Glastonbury Festival. Her 2016 single 'White Tiger' placed at number 90 on the UK Official Singles Chart and 'Talking to You' (2017) reached number 56. Her 2016 album 'A Moment of Madness' went to number 23 on the UK Albums Chart.
