Mr. Belt & Wezol

Mr. Belt & Wezol are a DJ and producer duo from the Netherlands founded in 2013. The duo consists of Bart Riem ("Mr. Belt") and Sam van Wees ("Wezol"). In the early days, the two released their music via social media. They scored their first hit in 2014 with the single "Shiver". Mr. Belt & Wezol also achieved respectable success in 2015 with "Finally" and "Somebody to Love". A year later, they were voted Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the famous Winter Music Conference dance event in Miami. Since 2014, the duo has published the monthly podcast The Cuckoo's Nest Radio (by Mr. Belt & Wezol). Mr. Belt & Wezol's increased attention leads to bigger gigs. In 2018, the two perform at the Tomorrowland festival for the first time. The DJ duo became quieter during the coronavirus period. Mr. Belt & Wezol return all the more brilliantly in 2024. The single "It's Not Right But It's Okay" reaches the top 10 of the Dutch charts at number 9. In Switzerland, it made it to number 100.
