Louise and The Feathers brings unique indie, folk, slight rap tap vibes with influences from Florence and The Machine, Paolo Nutini, Alison Moyet, Amy McDonald, Tracey Chapman, Hazel O’Connor and Fleetwood Mac to name a few.
From Birmingham originally, she moved to Wales when 9 and has been writing and playing ever since. Revisiting early written originals, she decided to start a fresh using her middle name “Louise” representing the roots of passion, alongside “and the feathers” linking to spiritual mindful perceptions and a love of nature. 2019 she shared Window View EP, with Rich Tea Biscuit having ‘A powerful, distinctive vocal line (that) storms through the track with great ease’ (Moggblog). Since which been getting awesome feedback at gigs including Cwmaman Fest, Landed Fest, Cwrw, Asylum Birmingham, Camper Site, Yha Broadhaven, Camper Jam and more, alongside making progress on new EP (in Cardiff) ‘Reflection’. With tour on the wish list she did 4 weeks of open mic and venue hunting across various places including Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool and Birmingham getting great push for 2023. With 'Reflection' singles being shared and more gigs happening 2024!
