He started off distributing many tracks via the Internet and is a member of the rap group Diemon Crew. He signed a recording contract with Colombia Records in 2017 and his debut major-label solo release There's Really a Wolf went to number four on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts and number seven on the Billboard 200. Featuring the likes of Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross, Zoo (2018) peaked at number two on the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts and number four on the Billboard 200. The 2017 single "Losin' Control" went to number seven on the Hot R&B Songs Chart, number 21 on the Hot Rap Songs Chart and number 28 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart. "Some Time" reached number 12 on the R&B Chart, "Wife You Up" number 16 and "Cherry Hill" number 19.
