Prototype

French rapper of Congolese origin, Prototype was born in Melun (Seine-et-Marne) and grew up in Seine-Saint-Denis, in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine. A member of the group Lutheck, he launched a solo career in 2019 with the track "Snake #1", then signed to the Epic Records France label in November 2020. He collaborates with Tiakola, the groups BRVMSOO and L2B Gang, Cinco, Kaza, Coyote Jo Bastard, S.Pri Noir, Jok'Air, Roshi, Take a Mic, La Pépite and Kodes on multiple tracks and albums Jeune Bandit Serpent (2021), Somnium (2021) and Extra (2022). In 2023, Farewell achieved even greater acclaim, with Prototype ranking 178th in the SNEP best-seller list for the first time. A revelation album, Farewell includes duets with Franglish on "La Loi", Genezio and Cinco, and the tracks "Le Soleil est levé" and "La Vie au calme", among others.
