Earth 1-297’s very own, Polymancer, a.k.a. POLY is an alternative artist, a pioneer of his sound, dabbling with deep emotive swells and storytelling that leaves its many interpretive meanings dispersible to limitless imagination. Active since AD 2020 (Gr.), POLY has crafted his sound with inspiration from some of the greats among the likes of Kanye West, EDEN and The Japanese House.
Embarking into sound, POLY found collective solace upon delving deep into one of humanity’s deepest desires – to be understood and loved by those we hold dear. It is the innate quality of love as a meaningful yet meaningless desire held by us all, but what the reason behind it existing at all was what POLY was so irrevocably immersed in. To bring his curiosities to fruition, he went about to create his debut recording project, Dream Caching, which released to public and industry acclaim, garnering the likes of Rolling Stone as well as Radio City 91.1, among many other major press and radio stations. His catalog has since amassed over 250,000 streams across platforms, with multiple tracks reaching the top 10 on the SoundCloud Indie charts for weeks at a time.
POLY has since taken his debut EP as well as newer additions to the catalog live to various cities across India, with audiences loving the immersive atmosphere created by POLY and his live band and crew. Having performed at festivals like BMW’s JoyTown 2023 and headlined shows at Hard Rock Cafe, Depot 48 and AM PM, as well as quainter house concerts and recording sessions in Bangalore and Mumbai, POLY is steadily growing his live presence and preparing to expand internationally.
Having relocated to Fulham, London in 2025, POLY is now preparing to bring his performances to the UK, with shows being planned in key cities and festival appearances on the horizon. This move positions him closer to major studios, collaborators, and the heart of the international alternative pop scene, allowing him to extend both his creative reach and his live footprint.
For his recent work, POLY has released tracks such as Free Fall (various demos leading to EP 3: Sinsiti) and sing you dead, each capturing unique moments in his evolving narrative. These songs explore themes of love, loss, mortality, and cosmic journeys, blending emotive storytelling with alternative and indie sensibilities. His innovative approach and commitment to narrative-driven music have earned him a growing international audience and critical recognition.
For his upcoming projects, POLY continues to craft his sophomore EP series, including space messages and EP 3 (Sinsiti), with meticulous curation ensuring every track contributes to the larger narrative. With streaming success, a devoted fanbase, and live shows across India and soon the UK, POLY is steadily expanding his footprint while continuing to push the boundaries of alternative pop music.
