Aurora, a British electronic dance music group, was formed in 1999 and consisted of keyboardist/guitarist Sacha Collisson and fellow keyboardist Simon Greenaway. The duo's initial breakthrough came with the release of their first EP Eos in 1997, followed by the EP Sadiam in 1998. Their debut album, Aurora, was released on January 1, 1997, by EMI Records. The band's most notable success came with their cover of Duran Duran's "Ordinary World", which reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart in 2000. Other significant singles include "Hear You Calling" (1999), which charted at number 71, and its re-issue in 2000, which peaked at number 17. Aurora also released several EPs, including The Day It Rained Forever and Dreaming, both in 2003. Their self-titled album was renamed Dreaming for the US release and included additional tracks such as "Dreaming (LTI radio edit)". The band continued to release singles like "If You Could Read My Mind" (2002), a cover of Gordon Lightfoot's song, and "Summer Son" (2006), a cover of Texas' track.
