Tuana Mey is a singer/songwriter from Germany with turkish roots.
She first shared her talent in 2006 when she started a YouTube channel. Later in 2007 she released her original collaboration song "Don`t say goodnight", which was featured and reached over 1,6 million views. Soon after she performed at the launch event of YouTube Germany and met Chad Hurley, the founder of YouTube.
On her channel she is independently releasing english and turkish original songs and covers, which got featured in many different countries such as YouTube Brazil, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. She gained over 10.000 subscribers and over 5.000.000 views.
Her talent also got the attention of the turkish, award-winning composer, songwriter and music producer Toygar Işıklı, who worked with her on various movie and tv show soundtracks such as „Acı Tatlı Ekşi“, „Karadayı“ and „Alev Alev“.
Recently she released her debut single „Bir Hayal Kurdum“, a turkish original, about hearing your callling and having a dream. And this song actually sounds like one. Magical with a little bit of fairy dust.
