Maxim

Maxim Richarz, born on May 15, 1982, in Königswinter, Germany, is a German singer and songwriter. He began his music career in 2005 after dropping out of the University of Cologne and the SAE Institute. Initially experimenting with Reggae, Maxim transitioned to contemporary pop rock music. His debut album Maxim was released in November 2005, followed by Rückwärts Fallen (Falling Backwards) in October 2008, and Asphalt in September 2011. In 2013, Maxim released the EP Meine Soldaten in May, followed by the album Staub (Dust) in the same month. The album reached number 10 in Germany and was praised for its emotional impact; it also topped the charts in Switzerland. His collaboration with fellow German artist Judith Holofernes on this release highlighted his ability to write deeply emotional lyrics that resonate with listeners. In 2014, Maxim released Staub Live (Dust Live), which included live performances of songs from Staub. His later releases include the EP Rückspiegel in September 2013 and the album Das Bisschen was wir sind (The Little Bit We Are) in September 2016.
