Biyografi

Tina Arena, born Filippina Lydia Arena on November 1, 1967, in Melbourne, Australia, captured the nation's attention with her powerful vocals and heartfelt songs. Rising to fame as "Tiny Tina" on the TV variety show Young Talent Time, Arena became the longest-serving cast member, amassing a national fan base during her seven year stint. Her debut album Strong as Steel, released in 1990, featured the catchy pop anthem "I Need Your Body," which reached platinum status. Seeking artistic growth, Arena ventured to Los Angeles to record her second solo album, Don't Ask, in 1996. The album exceeded all expectations, achieving an astonishing ten times platinum certification in Australia and propelling Arena to the top of the charts. Its lead single, "Chains," became a hit across the U.S the UK and New Zealand and was awarded the Best Pop Release and Song of the Year at the ARIA Awards with Don't Ask taking home several awards for the highest selling Australian album and the Best Australian Album. Arena's success continued with additional album singles, such as "Sorrento Moon (I Remember)" and "Heaven Help My Heart." In 1997, Arena released In Deep, her second Number 1 album in Australia, which achieved triple platinum certification. The album's lead single, "Burn," debuted at number 2 on the charts. Arena's collaboration with Marc Anthony on "I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You" for The Mask of Zorro soundtrack garnered international acclaim, with her heartfelt performance of "The Flame" at the 2000 Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony, also captivating audiences worldwide. Her fourth album Just Me, released in 2001, once again made its mark on international charts, including France and Switzerland. This success paved the way for her debut French-language album, Un autre univers (2005), which achieved platinum certification in France and remained on the charts for an impressive 78 weeks. Arena's second French-language album, 7 vies (2008), further solidified her popularity in France with the hit single "Entends-tu le monde?" (2007) becoming her sixth top 10 single in the country. The success of double covers album Songs of Love & Loss parts 1 and 2 throughout 2007 and 2008 paved the way for several sold-out tours, and in 2013, Arena returned with her first English album of original material in twelve years, titled Reset. The album reached the top 5, which the singer followed with hit album Eleven, two years later, which debuted at number 2 on the ARIA album charts, marking her seventh top 10 album in Australia. In recognition of her significant contributions, Arena was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2015. Returning to French pop music in 2018 with her album Quand tout Recommence, her enduring impact on the global music industry was acknowledged when Rolling Stone Australia listed her as one of the "50 Greatest Australian Artists of All Time" in 2020. In May 2023, Arena delighted fans with rousing lead single, "House" from her highly anticipated album Love Saves, which was released on July 14.
