DAT ADAM

Dat Adam, a German cloud rap and hip-hop group, was formed in 2014 by Daniel Tjarks (Taddl), Ardian Bora (Ardy), and Marius Ley (Marley). The trio met through their YouTube colleague Izzi. Before forming Dat Adam, Tjarks and Ley released an EP titled Motus under the name Taddl & Marley in 2014, which entered the German album charts. Dat Adam's debut EP, Chrome, was released on April 24, 2015, featuring the single "Forrest", which reached number 5 in the Austrian Singlecharts. The EP topped the charts in Austria and entered the top five in other German-speaking countries. Their first full-length album, Hydra 3D, was released on October 28, 2016, reaching the top five in Germany and Austria. They embarked on their first tour, Space-Camp, in November 2016. In March 2017, they released their second EP, How to Flex & Troll a Scene, followed by another tour. Their third EP, CYBER ROCK - EP, was released in December 2017. Dat Adam's final album, newWAVE, was released on September 21, 2018, marking the end of their career as a group. The album included the single "WACH (OST)", which served as the title track for the film Wach. The band disbanded in 2018, with members pursuing solo careers under various names. Posthumously, their song "Meep Meep" from newWAVE was featured in the soundtrack of the Austrian film Was wir wollten, released on November 11, 2020.
