Palmiyeler

Palmiyeler, a Turkish rock band based in Istanbul, was formed in 2013 by Mertcan Mertbilek, Tarik Tore, Rana Uludag, and Baris Konyali. They recorded their debut EP Palmiyeler in 2013, released on vinyl and digital platforms in 2015, and performed at One Love Festival '15 shortly after. Their debut LP II (Venus) was released via Tantana Records in 2017. The album received critical acclaim, entering best local albums lists for 2017 at major newspapers Milliyet and Hürriyet as well as digital media outlets such as Bant Mag and Play Tusu, which rated it 5/5. Notable singles from this period include "Senden Haber Yok" and "Karbeyaz". Their sixth album, Ikimiz, was released in 2022.
