3 Hürel

3 Hürel was a Turkish rock band formed in 1970 by siblings Onur Hürel, Haldun Hürel, and Feridun Hürel. The brothers began their musical journey in Istanbul after moving from Trabzon. Their debut single "Ve Ölüm/Şeytan Bunun Neresinde" was released in 1970, followed by two LPs and over 10 singles by 1976. Notable songs include "Gurbet Türküsü/Didaydom" (1970), "Pembelikler/Ağıt" (1971), and "Yara/Döner Dünya" (1972). The band's music blended folk-driven pop and rock with traditional Turkish elements, often featuring themes of peace and freedom. In 1977, Haldun Hürel and Feridun Hürel left for mandatory military service, leading to a hiatus. The band reunited in 1996, releasing albums Efsane... Yeniden (1996) and 1953 Hürel (1999). Their song "Ve Ölüm" (1970) was also featured in the 2013 film Tip Top.
