Esther Chidinma Oyewusi with the stage name Hadassah” is a gospel musician born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, in a Christian family with a rich musical heritage. Growing up, Hadassah love for music was nurtured through her involvement in the church choir (Glorious Church) from a young age.
Her passion for music remained strong, prompting her to further her musical career.
In 2017, She recorded her first album titled "Ogbonge God", she released "EmiMimo" in September 2023 and her recent single "Nobody" in April 2025. She organises a Live worship session called "Healing Room" & a Live programme titled "An Evening with Hadassah" She has collaborated with Gospel Minister Elijah Daniel and the late Aduke Gold and has ministered alongside renowned gospel artistes like Bidemi Olaoba, Bukola Bekes, Apekeola, Kaywonder at the Festival of Praise pioneered by HRH Oba Adewunmi Odutala.
Professionally, Hadassah has served as a Singer at Daystar Christian Center, Love Generation Assembly & Perfection Bible church international, Lagos, where she has held the position of the youth choir HOD for a year. Her dedication and leadership have significantly contributed to the musical aspects of the church's worship and programs.
Outside of her musical and professional life, Hadassah is blessed with a lovely husband, who brings joy and fulfillment to her life and tenaciously supports her musical career. Through her music and service, Hadassah continues to inspire and uplift others, reflecting her deep-rooted faith and commitment to her craft."
