Although bachata is considered a lament; it is the voice of Pablo Alejandro, The Gentleman of Bachata, that takes it to a unique level, where love and passion are mixed resulting in his Bachata -Tango. Pablo Alejandro, a native of Uruguay, from an early age has had the romantic feeling of Dominican music, specifically bachata, which because it is so similar to Uruguayan tango it unites him to this genre. He migrated to Miami at an early age in Miami, and that is when he begins to feel trapped by the different Latin rhythms that are spreading through the streets of the city. Without leaving aside tango, very typical of his country, he began to like the genre merengue and later bachata. In 1990, he decided to accept the invitation to join the group "The Clan of Fury" under the direction of Roy Tavare.
After having staged his charisma and musical knowledge with this group and later in other musical groups in Miami; his desire to become a soloist is born. In 2003 Pablo Alejandro started working on his first musical proposal, and he begin his career as a soloist. His first musical album "Cruzando Fronteras" was born between musical notes and exchange of romantic lyrics, in the studios of Juan Luis Guerra (JLG Studios). "You don't have to be Dominican to be a Bachatero, you have to feel Bachatero," Dominican journalist Luis Miguel González once said, referring to Pablo Alejandro's interpretation in his new production. His first single "Mi Estrella Mi Lucero" by the singer-songwriter Jesús Noel Montano, is the one that opened the international doors in 2004, intensifying promotional trips through Italy, Germany, Spain, Uruguay, Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia, and other cities within the United States.
His voice, his rhythm, and style overflow on stage, that is why the Dominican community in New Jersey, Patterson, acclaimed him at the Dominican Festival and Parade as "Revelation of Bachata" in 2004, and in 2005 he received a Recognition in the Dominican Independence Awards in Miami in its Tenth Delivery , where he is recognized for his work as a soloist of the bachata musical genre internationally. In 2006 he made a re-release of his first album “Cruzando Fronteras” under his own record label PAE, Inc. In 2008 he paused his musical career, devoting time to other personal projects.
Over the years Pablo Alejandro cannot deny his passion for music and decides to go back to it. In 2016, the song “Mi Niña Bonita” was born, a promotional single, a mix of electronic merengue directed by Dominican producer Angelo José Ortiz. In 2019 the second promotional single “No Me Habia Ido” was born and the links of professional collaboration with its Producer Angelo Jose Ortiz generates more than a friendship, a brotherhood. In 2020 and in the midst of the Pandemic, Pablo Alejandro decides to return to his roots with a single “Llora Mi Alma” a beautiful fusion of Bachata Tango, which not only makes him feel like in his beginnings, but in turn makes his second Album, "Romántico".
