A "blood harmony" is the deep emotional connection that comes from the blending of voices in family singing groups, stemming from a shared heritage and musicality. This Blood Harmony is made up of Moa and Matilda Michaeli, two sisters from Stockholm, Sweden. Inspired to create a sound that resonates with authenticity, their music reflects a raw and honest exploration of the highs and lows of love, seamlessly woven together with melodies that linger.
A transformative trip to Nashville provided the creative spark to create their own music together. Captivated by the vivid storytelling of country music and the energy of the indie scene there, the Blood Harmony sisters blended their Swedish pop roots with the distinctive range of styles within the country genre, as well as the Nashville music landscape. Their sound weaves together the threads of these disparate influences, creating a sound that is uniquely their own.
