After a successful Dj career in the 80s and making music for hire and remixes for major pop acts in the 90s and 2000s the producer behind Benjamin Koll decided to get away from the mainstream and start creating and releasing as himself only music that he really loved.
After a string of singles starting on 2016, among them “I’ll Be Good”, “2MenKiss” (a song that was born as an anthem against hate and bullying towards the LGBTQ community) and “On The Beach”, Benjamin released his first artist album on August of 2017, “Songs For a Better Future” accompanied by a listening companion paperback book, that opened the door for more music videos and singles, among them “Tell Me Why” and “Beautiful Nothing”, and his first live performances.
2020 sets the release of his second studio album “All Systems Go”. This album Includes 14 songs that span over an hour of previously unreleased music with deep, insightful lyrics interlaced with a gorgeous sonic landscape with heavy influences on R&B and house music showing a natural evolution from his previous debut album that also sees the release of a companion book on Amazon stores.
In April 2021 Benjamin Koll comes out as Perfected and releases “Once In A Lifetime”, a special event album with all new remixes of singles from “Songs From A Better Future”, songs featuring Jose Spinnin Cortes, Luis Erre & Paris Aguilar, and presenting the brand-new song Do It Again, a very uplifting classic house anthem that sets the mood just right for the listening experience of this record, and the following companion book.
Benjamin Koll has also been playing special DJ sets at selected venues and events where he features tons of all time dance classics, along with exclusive advances and many special never-before heard remixes of his own songs. He will be performing on 2022 on Beefdip (Puerto Vallarta) and Bigger Vegas (Las Vegas).
Benjamin Koll is the result of a dream; a persona born out of the necessity of making music that is completely in his own taste and style. His goal is to express music that resonates with men who are attracted to other men, and also videos and images for the bear community. His sound is heavy influenced by soul, house and funk and is happy and uplifting. Benjamin's stage presence is powerful and sexy and his shows are designed to be a visual and musical experience.
