Martin George Selwood is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music producer from the UK.
I create music by fusing different styles with an experimental edge. Combining diverse percussion, rhythms, evolving textures, soaring melodies with epic string, choir, vocal, and synthesizer textures. Music to take you on a journey. Soundscapes for the spirit and soul.
I’m influenced and write many different styles of music. I’m inspired by Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Tangerine Dream. Other influences include soundtrack music, ’70s disco, ’80s pop, Latin, jazz, industrial, and heavy rock.
I have recorded over eight hundred original pieces of music and songs to date. Released 11 albums and more than 150 tracks are available to purchase or stream on all digital platforms.
I have produced albums and singles for other artists and bands including a CD by British heavy metal band Voodoo Moon in 2005, and two albums for political rap collective Class Actions - 2010's Keep Your Pride and 2014's Hooligan Sound.
In 2020 I recorded and arranged ‘Uber Time’ written by Hollywood producer and screenwriter Scott Fivelson featuring Luis Martelo on trumpet.
