El Hadji Dame Dieng was born on October 25, 1998 in the commune of Pikine, Senegal. He attended school in Thiaroye. At the age of 15, he joined the rap group Black Under, but left the group in 2014 after only one year of activity. The artist adopted the stage name One Lyrical. "One" because when he was an amateur footballer, he was among the best in his category, and "lyrical" for the care he takes with his lyrics. then signed with Rep'Tyle Music. With other members of the label, he formed the Rep'Team collective, which took part in a musical competition called Flow Up and reached the final. In 2017, he delivers his first single, "Thieddo", which benefits from the support of Hakill and Zou Kana. The following year, he unveiled "Katsandé". In 2019, he released his first studio album, Potentiel . In 2020, he multiplies his releases, with, successively, "Selfie", "Expresso", "OGFC", "Messi 10", "Namel" and "Sale Temps ". In October 2022, he and his partner, singer Leyna, released a joint album, Lune de Miel, featuring the singles "Best Friend" and "Dozéko ". He returned in 2023 with the track "Tarkinda" and took part with Sidy Diop and Ngaaka Blindé in the recording of the song "Djiguen".
